5000 Hits Blog Candy

I'm really chuffed that my counter has gone over 5000 hits. I know it's not that many especially when I see some peoples blogs which are getting 10,000 hits in a couple of months, (how do they do it, lol). However I am really happy that people want to come and see my humble creations and like them enough to come back and visit regularly.

Anyway as promised I am going to give away some candy; I have been scouring the shops and also my stash to find suitable goodies and I think I've done quite a good job, if I say so myself! Here's a photo of the candy, (sorry the photo isn't great):

I've been trying to catch up with every one's blogs this morning and there are some fantastic things to see.

I've been inspired and in absolute awe of some of the cards and crafts I've seen. Also on my journey I've come across some fantastic blog candy on an absolutely wonderful blog, here. Here is the card I have come up with which I think covers everything it has to:

This is the first card I've made with a Tilda image and I love her although I think I need more practice shading using water colours. I think I have used everything I was meant to; the background paper is patterned, there is a piece of black ribbon behind the image, I've used 2 yellow buttons as the flower centres and you can't miss the flowers!! I am really happy with how the card turned out.
